Bio
Schawn has been speaking at retreats for over 10 years. In 2010, she began presenting for Lutheran Hour Ministries' Mission U.
Schawn graduated from Concordia, Chicago and served at Lutheran High School of San Antonio as an English Teacher. After changing careers to stay-at-home mom, Schawn experienced a deeper need for God's encouragement. She soon discovered that need was universal. Women, young and old, were encouraged by the truths from scripture that Schawn was learning and sharing.
Today, Schawn loves being a wife and homeschooling mom who inspires family fun. She is fond of reading, hiking, and knitting. She enjoys serving Jesus in whatever ways seem to come along, whether it be in Children's Ministry at church or park clean-up with a community service group. But, her passion is sharing the forgiveness and freedom found in Jesus with other women.
